Artist Statement

I would like to take out of date tag sale signs/plastic advertising signs that plauge our communities and make a collage out of them onto the railing. It would be a sort of 'visual overload' for the viewer. I feel that the issue of urban blight in Connecticut needs to be addressed and this would be an ideal platform for me to get my message across to the public. If I were able to do this project I would also include a petition for people to sign (in person or online) to insure that both state and local officals took aim at people who litter our community with this trash.
