Nicholas Lima
Artist Statement
Nicholas Lima (b. 1982, New Bedford, Massachusetts) lives and works in Lyndonville, Vermont and teaches at the Community College of Vermont. His practice can be described as ethnography of consumer culture, and includes painting, printmaking, and installation using food packaging, and other remnants of consumption. His work investigates regional food practices, land use and the agricultural systems. Nico received his BFA from UMass Dartmouth in 2005, and his MFA from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2022.
