Artist Statement

Through shapes that vine, bloom, grow, and wilt, I am to express the passage of time inside a world of both comfort and isolation. Nature and the decorative arts are the primary inspiration behind my work. My process is intuitive, and I aim to create a rhythm that soothes myself and my viewer through texture, repetition, and color. I hope that my work marries the skill and femininity of textile design with the spiritual freedom of painting.
