Artist Statement

I created an artwork using the reductive print method, working back to front. This is printed from one block continously carved to reveal information. This is an alternative print using a brighter pop of color. I created this artwork as an homage to a memory of my father and I to give as a gift during his time of depression after losing his job. I was inspired by him to make a visually and physically complex artwork using multi-layers and depth of detail.
