Artist Statement

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, I am deeply inspired by the vibrant layers of Brazilian culture. My work is a celebration of my home—from daily habits and local cuisine to the rich textures of folklore and urban legends. While my roots are in Rio, I am constantly fueled by exploring different cultures, finding new inspiration in the global exchange of ideas. I specialize in printmaking and illustration, using these mediums to translate the rhythm of popular culture into visual stories.
