Gareth Rose

Artist Statement

Gareth Rose is a photographer and visual artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. Working through photography, video, and mixed media, their practice explores themes of identity, place, mental health, and religion. Rose was the recipient of the 2025 Mary Ruth Moore Reciprocity Award, has had work exhibited at the University of Georgia and has been published in the third issue of RUNT Magazine. They will receive their Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia in 2026 with an emphasized practice in photography and expanded media.
