Artist Statement

I use recycled cardboard to create large-scale sculptures inspired by animals, folklore, and symbols. Its versatility and light weight make cardboard a perfect medium to construct large forms. It has no value, therefore the worth of my sculptures is determined solely by the quality of the images and the time involved in creating them. There is an alchemy in transforming a humble, disposable material into an object of beauty- both wondrous and strange.
