Artist Statement

Nicoletta Barolini is a New York–based artist whose cut and layered paper works investigate tension and containment within the flat surface. She has exhibited nationally and spent nearly two decades as Art Director and Science Visualizer at Columbia University, shaping visual communication for scientific research.
