Artist Statement

Much of my art background has been in architectural illustration. I have always had an interest in the past, people places, neglected, abandoned, the closed industrial site, this is what I paint. I look for that lost piece of humanity to include in my work, being some object or structure. Using negative space I find the symmetry and angles within my subject, breaking down and mixing colors until | am satisfied and have gone far enough.
