Artist Statement

A recurring thread in my work is the presence of forgotten signs and of people. These images speak to solitude, memory, and the traces we leave behind. I often begin with photographs I’ve taken over the years, using them as inspiration rather than copy. As I paint, my colors evolve—sometimes subtly, sometimes dramatically. I follow the movement of the brush and the emotional tone at the moment. My goal is to create a mood that resonates emotion and reflection.
