Artist Statement

Mya Williams(she/her) investigates the relationship between people and environment. By exploring concepts of space through surrealist techniques, she creates dynamic compositions that challenge how we mentally and physically experience a place. Drawing on influences from culture , metaphor, and design, Mya works with dry media, acrylic paint, and collage to bring fulfillment to a variety of spaces.
