Artist Statement

In my cozy basement studio nestled in a 125+ year old home in Livingston, Montana, I find my bliss in meticulously selecting gemstones, sketching designs, and letting creativity guide my process to slowly craft one-of-a-kind, wearable pieces. I'm constantly exploring new ideas, techniques, and materials, fueled by my passion for learning and creating. My journey into jewelry metal smithing began later in life, marked by trial and error, but also perseverance and valuable guidance from fellow artists. Each piece of jewelry carries a piece of me, celebrating human resilience, struggle and beauty. My mother, a strong hard worker, who encouraged me to explore without bounds, inspires me daily. Snow Orchid Designs, my business name, is a tribute to her and my Asian heritage, reflecting the love and strength I pour into every piece. My jewelry is for women who love being themselves & who like celebrating their individuality & power. Thank you for supporting my creative journey and jewelry making passion.
