Artist Statement

I am an artist who resides in Southern New Jersey. I have been making art since 1980. I studied at The Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. I received a certificate in painting from the Academy in 1985. I received a B.F.A. from The University of Pennsylvanian in 1986. The mediums that I work in are oils, gouache, acrylics, watercolors ( I prefer oils}. I use those mediums to make . I also make works in collage and drawing.
I work in a few styles: realism, expressionism, and abstract. I like to make art that is painterly. I like to experiment with texture. Making art is my passion.
