Artist Statement

My sound performance invites listeners to be present using immersive, improvised sound as a meditation. It can be confrontational, sometimes using brute volume, harsh sounds, and dissonance; at other times it uses restraint, minimalism, and dynamic motion. Improvisation allows me as a performer to create a unique soundscape and respond to the space and audience. Rather than commenting on specific issues, the performance offers a moment to be grounded in compassion, presence, and inner peace.

Technical elements: I only require a standard power outlet - I have my own instruments and cables. I can provide a speaker as well.
