Artist Statement

Through a range of processes, I chose ro explore my lived experiences of growing up and coming into my own femininity. My work draws from perspectives shaped by life in the American Southwest, finding the crossroads where place, identity, and memory intersect. I combine personal reflections on my progression into womanhood with the broader realities of what that transition means within the world around me.
