Artist Statement

My jewelry is made out of fine silver, sterling silver and copper, often in combination. I have always been interested in pattern and texture and continue to explore these ideas in my work. Color has become an important element in my pieces through the use of stones and enamel and I experiment using both. Each piece is constructed by hand and is one of a kind. I often look to the natural world and the built environment for inspiration and study how jewelry has changed throughout history.
