Artist Statement

I wish to capture the dialogue of silence—the moment when the soul hears before the mind can listen, and beauty is given voice.

I work as a creative expressionist, drawn to quiet, contemplative moments that often go unnoticed. My paintings balance abstraction and realism, shaped by formal fine art study, personal faith, and the lived discipline of military service. These influences appear not as narrative or symbol, but as atmosphere—spaces that feel remembered rather than recorded.

I explore resilience through restraint, allowing tension between control and surrender to emerge in the work. Brushwork remains intentional yet open, inviting stillness rather than explanation.

If something is felt before it is understood, then the work has done what it was meant to do.
