Artist Statement

Paper ceases to be a plane and becomes a constructive element. Through layering, folding, and dense assembly, its ephemeral quality is subverted; it achieves a monumental presence. These artworks prove that by exploiting its unique fold-holding, light-catching qualities, paper can be reimagined as a durable, primary building block for creating worlds, rendering it a timeless, utterly versatile medium.
