Artist Statement

Returning to my craft after many years. These are hand colored black and white photographs. I use oil paint applied with cotton and brush. I learned this technique while in college. As my 'real job' career in the digital world is ending I am refocusing on my analog world. Photographing a photograph there is an inevitable loss of quality. They are very delicate and refined up close. Thank you for your consideration.
