Artist Statement

As an artist I consider myself a pied Piper for social justice who leads his audience into the grey area of pride despite bigotry.
Using images that are often pulled from the headlines, I use design elements with mixed media to create subjects that emerge from the two-dimensional surface.
My mission is to tell the story of the black community, particularly in the Tump era proclaiming that black history is not American history.
