Artist Statement

my name is Jonathan Quarles. I currently reside in Newport News, Virginia where I work as a nurse. I have been creating abstract art for a years now as a form of self expression. Art is one area where you can form your own interpretation of what you see. Especially with abstract and contemporary art. How we view the world is determined by our experiences. Which art does the same for me.
