Artist Statement

I am inspired by nature and my work tries to translate that inspiration into a visual representation and experience. My works are primarily based on local settings, and I use acrylic paint to build layers of color, texture, and depth to express the beauty and emotional impact of the natural environment guided by my own interpretation and experience.
