Artist Statement

With a lifelong passion for art, I initially built a successful 38 year career as a hairstylist and artistic director in Princeton, New Jersey, finding joy in helping others express themselves. However, the pull of my artistic roots never faded. Now, in retirement, I’ve fully embraced my first love, art, allowing me to immerse myself creatively once more. Living by the beach inspired many of my coastal themed pieces, which can be viewed at many local stores and fine art galleries. My work is deeply influenced by nature’s colors and the music that moves me, often naming my paintings after songs that resonate with my heart. I approach each canvas with an open mind, letting the creative process unfold naturally.
Through my artistic roots, I hope to inspire others to find wonder in everyday beauty. I hope my pieces bring as much joy to others as I feel while creating them.
