Artist Statement

Being transmasculine is deeply intertwined with my very being, and creating art has been a way of exploring that tumultuous relationship between my own happiness and the way the world perceives me. In my work, I free myself from the binds of gender presentation and focus on my body as it is (or as I want it to be), asking the viewer to consider their perceptions of what it means to be transgender.
