Artist Statement

I am drawn to themes that can be expressed through color, shape and composition, depicted through original drawings and collaged cut and torn
papers. The excitement of ‘painting with paper’ always engages me. Searching for papers to be used, mostly from magazines and catalogs, is the initial stage of my artistic process and draws me closer to the images I hope to portray. My passion for collaged artwork has led me in many different directions and themes.
