Artist Statement

I have been involved in watercolor since my retirement. Within days of my last day of employment I have been enrolled in art classes at Alan Hancock College and have studied with many national artists inclluding Lien Zhen, Don Andrews, Sterling Edwards, Tony Lynch, Dale Latinen, Cathy Quiel, and others. My work is not super realistic, but rather colorful and espressive. I have been influenced by artists in workshops and nature.
