Artist Statement

I work in a colorful, loosely rendered style and I typically use the human figure as a vessel for emotion, memory, and connection. I’m drawn to the moments that hover between clarity and abstraction. I hope to create paintings that feel both familiar and dreamlike, inviting viewers to slow down, look closely, and find their own narratives within the figures and scenes I depict.
