Artist Statement

I am inspired by the beauty and nature that surrounds me. I also travel to astonishing places one must see to believe. I'm a representational landscape oil, and acrylic painter. In my work I aim to convey the wonder I feel when exploring the outdoors. I use color and composition to capture a memory or a moment in time from my adventures. My paintings are a cross between a landscape and a dream scape. My miniature paintings are a fun and whimsical sketch for my larger works.
