Artist Statement

My family and I enjoy hiking. One of the several trips to Ohio State led us to Hocking Hills where straight rocks and deep caves are simply stunning. Walking on steep trails of Hocking Hill was not hard work at all as we were so distracted by its beauty and we forgot to how sore our feet were.
The region surrounding Yakima, the shrub-steppe plants decorate the desert landscape so well. The desert there is not flat at all. It stretches up and down, shallow and deep, with sage brushes and other desert plants dotted near and far all over the desert ground, hills and mountains. Magnificent and breath-taking….
