Artist Statement

Painting and drawing for me is the way of thinking and observing the world around me. My inspiration relates from my own life, feelings, emotions, experiences, or sometimes my observations of lives of other people. My paintings are about transposing the material into immaterial by creating a new identity and vice versa. I am fascinated by space and memory, either physical or imaginary, and by their virtual existence.
