Artist Statement
My practice explores how complex emotional systems can surround a single event and be perceived from multiple vantage points simultaneously. This interest took root during my adolescence in NYC, a period shaped by cultural moments such as 9/11, the financial crisis and the internet's rise to ubiquity. This era fractured the concept of a shared reality, a subject I believe artists are continuing to grapple with today.
