Artist Statement
These small ceramic houses are topped with inaccessible chairs that serve less as furniture than as lookout points. The works reflect on shelter, displacement, vigilance, and the act of waiting. Occupied and unoccupied at once, the structures suggest a fragile relationship between home and the uncertain world beyond.
