Artist Statement

My artistic practice is an exploration of the intersection between structured geometry and fluid, organic forms, with a deep focus on the emotive power of color. Rooted in the meditative precision of Zentangle-inspired patterns, I utilize pen, ink, and pencil to build intricate abstract works. In my recent pieces, color serves as the primary vehicle for energy; I use radiant golds to represent internal light and deep, saturated greens to evoke the restorative power of the natural world.
Since transitioning to a full-time practice in Asbury Park three years ago, I have expanded my technical boundaries by incorporating mixed media, resin, and metal. This evolution allows me to juxtapose delicate hand-drawn elements with bold, industrial materials, creating a dynamic sense of depth and tactile energy. Ultimately, my work serves as a bridge between focused technique and emotional exploration—a space where art and mindfulness meet. I invite the viewer into a sanctuary of quiet, intentional detail and vivid, symbolic color.
