Artist Statement

My watercolors are a celebration of and connection to the incredible outdoors that surround us. Whether it's a trail or a stop to linger and admire a particularly delightful moment, I hope my art is in an invitation to explore more, find joy in the details of the everyday and seasonally changing, and protect the natural environment that needs us and offers so much. I find respite here in an overwhelming world and hope those who see my art do too.
