Artist Statement

The choice to express my creativity with photographic imagery provides me with a way to share my passion, gratitude, and vision for life with others. Daily life makes it hard to be present sometimes, so when something strikes me, I try to take a moment, contemplate it, and record it as an image for my art.

I love the idea of always being “in the middle of somewhere” and creating art from where I stand. My photographic art has evolved over many years into a style of vibrant and bold storytelling.

As a documentary photographer, I'm drawn to landscapes, street photography, textures, and creating altered perspectives. I’m intrigued by all the things that reflect generations and nature moving through fixed environments, making their mark, and creating their journeys.

Those who find my work compelling are completing my vision by making it their own whether they enjoy an image for a moment or hold it in their personal space forever. I thrive doing custom art projects, interesting themed shows, and working with clients who want to make a personal and dynamic statement with their decor.

My artwork has been viewed and sold in gallery exhibits, festivals, marketing campaigns, and in private and commercial installations since 1995.
