Artist Statement

I’m inspired by the woman around me, my mother, my friends and customers. As women, we are so many different people throughout one day. We’re thought leaders, problem solvers, moms, daughters, care takers, partners and more. Because of this, we need clothes that keep up with every moment. That means, yes, pockets. We also need clothing that makes us look good and feel like ourselves. My aim is to design with all of our changing needs in mind so we feel confident as we go about our day. I also love to provide men with beautiful clothing options too.

I offer clothing and accessories made with natural dyes and organic fabrics that are stunning, long-lasting, and fit everyone beautifully. I design and make my pieces to exacting standards. Every detail is considered. I've been concerned about climate change for a long time. My carbon footprint is minimal as I reuse my natural dye vats, creating beautiful luscious natural color on women's and men's clothing in my studio in Berkeley, CA.
