Artist Statement

Colorful, textural, and abstract landscapes. A variety of marks, created by palette knives and brushes, are used to build up a textural surface with a mix of smaller and larger marks. Gestural directionality gives the pieces a sense of movement, and a tension between abstract and representational elements emerges.
