Artist Statement

Many of our concepts are the symptoms of suspicions toward logic and sense, with a reoccurring relationship between power and knowledge.
Through imagery, I capture the rhizomatic structures hidden behind mythological symbolism, the organizational urgencies of providence and prefecture, as well as the inadequacies of contemporary capitalist societies.
Seeing as reality only consists of objects and events as they are perceived by the human consciousness, my pieces are a study in the subjectiveness of meaning, the conceptual representations of subject, and the occult mechanisms concerning the socio-historic structure of that which is meaningful to many.
As a mystic myself, I understand the importance of metaphors needed to withstand modernity, and hope to bring those that view my work a recuperative primacy in their search to find humanness and wholeness.
