Daniel Parker

Artist Statement

Daniel Parker, better known as, "Danny", to many, is a self-taught visual artist born in Detroit, MI. Daniel showed an interest in art early on in his childhood. Saturday morning cartoon fueled his desire to sketch the characters he watched faithfully. When asked about his goals, Daniel aspires to continue learning and studying under Teacher/Mentor Dr. Hubbert Massey in hopes to one day learn and master the technique in creating a Fresco painting which is a very challenging technique to learn. Daniel also hopes to inspire and make people happy as well as have his art shown in museums all over the world. Daniel lives by a simple mantra, "Day by day, piece by piece". When asked what this means to him, he says, Every day we work towards a goal, each day putting the pieces of the puzzle together until that complete picture is built.
