Artist Statement

I am a retired attorney with a passion for literature, the arts, and creative expression. During college, I pursued my love for English and Latin American Literature, and have since been an enthusiastic reader, writer, and admirer of the arts.

Throughout my life, I have explored various forms of art, but only in my retirement have I been able to devote significant time to it. My focus is on creating artwork that resonates with people on a deep level, capturing different aspects of the human experience. Whether it's humorous, emotional, surreal, or even seemingly mundane yet entertaining, my goal is to touch the soul with my art.

As a Latin American immigrant to the United States and a gay man, I tend to focus my writing and artwork on the experiences of immigrant and marginalized peoples. My unique perspective, combining my legal analytical skills with my creative flair, allows me to produce stunning and thought-provoking pieces.

Ultimately, my hope is that my art inspires and brings joy to those who view it, encouraging them to see the world from different perspectives and empathize with those who are often overlooked or misunderstood.
