Artist Statement

My work seeks to invoke the “awe” of nature. I desire to reconnect the audience with their place within the natural world and the beauty and chaos within it. We as humans have long used the tools of storytelling to teach each other about the power, prestige, and dangers of the natural world. Employing this universal trait among cultures my art strives to strengthen the understanding of our interdependence with the world and lifeforms around us and how it shapes both our body and minds.
