Artist Statement

Everything falls apart. Paint peels, metal corrodes, wood warps, and the things we build slowly return to something older and stranger than themselves.
Beautiful Ruins is a collection of photographs made in the spaces where that process is most honest — abandoned institutions, forgotten workshops, weathered walls, and windows that no longer keep the world out.
These are not images of failure. They are images of transformation. Rust becomes color. Decay becomes texture. What was discarded becomes luminous.
Each frame asks the same question: what does a place look like when it stops performing and simply is?
