Artist Statement

Through paintings and poems, I like to create spaces that allow for one to pause and appreciate the beauty of what is right in front of us. Having had five countries to call home, I am intrigued by the concept of identity and its complex relationship to physical environments. I am deeply influenced by nature and its immense power to create and nourish.

I want to create art that can bring viewers one step closer to deeply connecting with nature at a personal level, and to witness the fragility and preciousness of life on Earth.
