Dillon Balmas

Artist Statement

Dillon Balmas is a Metro Detroit photographer with an associates degree in photography from Oakland Community College. His most recent photographic exploration is the relationship between shadows and the objects that create them.

Dillon is influenced by photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson for his philosophy on the "Decisive Moment." He also pulls influence from Ansel Adams for his dramatic and well calculated landscapes.
