Artist Statement

My artwork involves an exaggerated portrayal of nature using iridescent colors. Quoting Marsha Miro from a Detroit Free Press article, my work “touches a primeval world where beautifully colored forms have a surreal sinisterism.” There are distortions of size, color, and impact which creates quirky surrealism using Prismacolor pencils.
