Claire Mannheimer

Artist Statement

Claire is a fine jewelry artist working in solid gold and sterling silver, creating pieces rooted in symbolism, intention, and personal growth. Her aesthetic blends ancient reference with modern restraint. She studies historical adornment including armor, talismans, and celestial forms not to replicate the past, but to distill its essence into wearable, contemporary design.
Each collection begins with internal inquiry drawn from lived experience. Her design process becomes a form of processing her inner work. Claire translates reflection into structure, allowing material, proportion, and weight to embody emotion. In this way, her jewelry becomes both artifact and anchor.
Her style is strikingly simple and intentionally powerful. She removes what is unnecessary so meaning can breathe, paying close attention to scale, balance, and presence. Subtle textures reference ancient metalwork while remaining refined and practical for everyday wear.
Material integrity is central to her practice. She works exclusively in solid gold and sterling silver, negating plated or impermanent materials. Gemstones are chosen for both their symbolic lineage as well as their long-term durability.
Jewelry has historically functioned as armor, spiritual object, and heirloom. Claire preserves that lineage while designing for contemporary life, creating modern heirlooms that make inner work visible, pieces that mark transitions, reinforce boundaries, and carry personal meaning. They are simple, powerful, and meant to be lived in.
