Artist Statement

I was introduced to bronze foundries when I moved to Montana and became enamored with the whole Lost Wax process. As an animal bronze sculptor, I strive to capture the beauty and grace of all animals, great and small.
My inspiration is in their movement and I look for unique ways to blend realism with a playfulness. Realism is challenging and this fulfills my personal expectations and the playful swirls and curls fulfills my whimsy side, together they make the perfect balance. My sculptures are finished with my own signature patina of life like colors of nature. I want my sculptures to install an appreciation for the animals we share the world with.
