Artist Statement

I am Heather Macfarlane, a local Nature Artist located in Kalispell, Montana. Connecting with Nature is my motto!
My botanical and nature inspired boho jewelry and art prints uses real botanicals and other natural elements making unique and stunning pieces.
My Botanical Jewelry is handcrafted using real pressed flowers and other natural elements in UV resin. Some of my signature collections of jewelry are: The Terrarium Collection (Water & Earth) of sea shells, starfish(es), moss, sand, flowers, mushrooms, bark, and leaves make this collection unique as well as a conversation piece.
The Garden Collection, a homegrown and hand pressed botanicals from my garden.
The Flora & Fauna Collection (Air & Earth) of feathers, flowers, & leaves makes this collection stand out. The freedom of the feather and grounding of earthly botanicals.
The Mixed Media Collection, vintage papers and botanicals give this collection an artistic flair.
The Color Pop Signature Collection is colorful botanicals which have been dyed. The Rainbow and The Chakra are the main signatures of this collection.
The Royalty Collection are colors inspired by royalty throughout time, such as, The Rococo, Marie Antoinette inspired.

My boho feather jewelry and hair accessories uses various feathers and other natural materials along with beadwork to make these spiritually connected upscale pieces!

My Nature Botanical Prints are using a vintage style of blueprinting using either Cyanotype or Solar Fast solutions. This technique is a form of sun printing, using the UV light from the sun. I used real botanicals from my garden giving each print its unique print. No two original prints are alike!!
