Nancy Gerfers

Artist Statement

I work with papers embedded and featured in my work to depict landscape, add texture and create interest in the expanses and variety of biomes in our state and beyond. While I print many patterns on gelli plate, I also incorporate papers with fibers, leaves, string, coffee grounds, and try to give the viewer new discoveries as they walk through a piece.
