Artist Statement

My textile art tells the spiritual and metaphysical stories that are unfolding in my life and the lives I observe of other women artists around me. And the pragmatic stories we live, too: dishes to wash, clothes to fold, the vegetables to plant, gardens to tend. I love the colors of vibrant folk art and tend to follow an idea through several iterations.
