Artist Statement

Each garment I create begins at my four-harness floor loom, where I intentionally guide every thread into patterns I have designed for my practice. As the cloth develops, the loom serves as a storyteller, revealing nuanced variations in texture and tone. I exclusively select natural fibers for my weaving, as I believe their inherent qualities impart warmth and character that synthetic materials cannot replicate. My goal is to produce work that respects the tradition of the craft and provides a genuinely handmade experience for those who wear it.
